Begum's is a relatively small local eatery that specializes in Indian cuisine and serves mouthwatering biryani, mughlai, and much more. Despite its modest size, the place is well-known to locals for consistently serving high-quality food. Seating is available in and outdoors.

Omani cuisine is halal meat-dominated, with Arabian and Indian influences easily traceable. Some of the typical local dishes include grilled meats, shwarma, and biryani. The variety of cuisine choices, however, is certainly impressive and ranges from traditional Omani to Indian, Pakistani, European, and Asian.
